The show, featuring the dynamic duo of Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie, is a 10-episode narrative crafted by co-showrunners Mike Schur and J.J. Philbin, under the banner of Universal Television. Fans can mark their calendars for November 23, when the series officially launches on the streaming platform.

The series draws its inspiration from Kate Myers' novel, 'Excavations', immersing viewers in the world of a dedicated archaeological team, supported by a group of less enthusiastic college students, during their summer expedition in Greece. Their routine excavation takes an unexpected turn with the discovery of a rare artifact, propelling them into an unforgettable journey.
